Child-Proofing Your Toddler’s Room

Accidents at home are one of the leading causes of childhood injuries and deaths, most of which are preventable. Learn more about childproofing your child's room in our upcoming class on January 22, 2025. We'll cover important tips to child-proof your child's room (Newborn to 4-5 years old).

Wednesday, January 22 from 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET (View your local time HERE) with a 45-minute presentation and 15-minute Q&A.

This class will be held via online video conference and recorded, so you can watch the replay if you can’t make it! The link to attend live will be sent out after registration and the replay link will be emailed to all attendees.

What will be covered:

• What child-proofing is and why it's so important.
• How to transition from a crib to a safe sleep space for toddlers, and what that safe sleep space should look like.
• What items can stay in the room and what should go.
• How to childproof furniture and structural areas of the room.
• The differences between childproofing products and which are my favorites.
• Specific considerations for those who have limited space and must keep your toddler in your bedroom.
• Fire safety.
• And all the other little things that many people don’t think about!

I want this to be a more intimate class, so I’m opening it to only 25 people so you can better get all your questions answered.

You’ll have an opportunity to submit any specific questions you may have beforehand so that I can do my best to incorporate them into the presentation, but you’ll also have time to ask during the Q&A.
